The qualified candidate we are looking for will have excellent estimating skills as well as the ability to establish relationships with numerous customers, insurance companies and adjusters. This person must also be highly organized, a team motivator, and possess strong customer service skills. Responsibilities Identify, confirm, and offer resolution to customer concerns. Communicate with the customer on all aspects of the job Assess customer needs by conducting a vehicle walk around. Write accurate repair and estimates. Obtain approval to review findings of multi-point inspection and associated prices. Obtain approval to proceed with supplemental repairs. Dispatch repair orders to technicians following department dispatch policy and utilizing cost control methods. Communicate with technicians to gain a clear understanding of repairs required and/or performed. Follow-up with customers during repair of vehicle so they are aware of status. Qualifications The following knowledge, skills and abilities are needed to be successful in this position: Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency. Excellent communication skills both written and oral Critical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Time Management – ability to prioritize workload and manage one’s own time. Mathematics – calculating service costs and counting change. Basic computer skills Lithia Hiring Requirements High school graduate or equivalent. 18 years or older Have an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license in state of residence. A criminal history background check will be conducted prior to beginning employment.
