Job Description:
• Produce bread and desserts according to the needs of customers.
• Make and decorate different types of cakes.
• Manage the display cases of bread.
• Inventory control.
• Make orders from our customers on time.
• Place orders of raw materials on time.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bakery and meet the standards of the Health Department.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain good relations between employees and provide training and guidance to team members.
• Establish staff schedules.
• Maximize the production and reduce the product cost.
• Establish work processes.
• Maintain the quality standards set by the company.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• When required perform all activities of a shift leader.
• Perform any other task assigned by the store manager.
Job Requirements:
• 3 years experience in Mexican bakery.
• Ability to read at the eighth grade level.
• Knowledge of the preparation of bread and pastry (Mexico / US).
• Manual skills.
• Ability to control inventory.
• Knowledge of bakery equipment maintenance.
• Conversational Spanish.
• Understanding of the product presentation.
• Knowledge of raw materials and ability to make orders.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish and English.
• Graduation from high school or GED.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to flex, kneel, bend and stoop.
• Ability to do repetitive movements.
