Bar Manager/Bartender

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Bar Manager to join our team. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing a team of bartenders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restaurant industry, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering an outstanding bar experience. Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise all aspects of the bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment - Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests - Train and develop bartenders on drink recipes, customer service, and upselling techniques - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues in a professional manner - Monitor and control costs to maximize profitability - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service - Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability - Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, changes in policies or procedures, and provide ongoing training Skills: - Strong knowledge of Aloha POS system or similar restaurant point-of-sale systems - Proficient in cash register operations and retail math calculations - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy - Solid understanding of food handling safety guidelines - Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and inspire a team - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and have previous experience as a Bar Manager, we would love to hear from you.
