The Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of nursing operations within our organization. Your duties will include:
- Developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA
- Providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Supervising and evaluating the performance of nursing personnel
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, to ensure quality patient care
- Managing budgets and resources to optimize efficiency
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participating in the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Providing education and training to nursing staff on best practices and new developments in healthcare
Experience to be successful
-Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of nurses
-Excellent supervisory skills to oversee nursing personnel
-In-depth knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
-Familiarity with hospice care, acute care, nursing administration, and home care practices
-Ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
- IL RN License- obtained prior to hire date
- BS in Nursing or diploma from an accredited school of nursing Required
- 2 years of leadership or management
