What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Techinician position at Labor Finders?
Yard Technician will be assisting techs and detailers with minor jobs. Additionally, the yard tech will be helping with the fuel drainage process as well as yard maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and transport semi-trucks.
- Ability to work independently
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the shop manager such as, building/yard maintenance, assisting mechanics and detailers, etc.
- Safely perform assigned tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Experience working in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position (lifting up to 100 lbs., bending, climbing, standing for duration of shift, etc.)
- Driver’s License
- Must have Minimum Class B CDL, Class A CDL (Preferred)
- Must be able to be qualified through internal CDL qualification process.
- Must have knowledge for jumpstarting and releasing frozen breaks for semi-trucks.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check test and motor vehicle record check and not have any DUI or Drug Convictions in the last five years.
- Effectively read, write & understand verbal instructions in English
