Laborie Medical Technologies is currently searching for a Clinical Educator to join our team remotely.
Position Overview:
The Clinical Educator will work with Customers of Laborie to engage in ongoing support of their devices to ensure optimal outcomes. Key will be ensuring equipment setup is as per manufacturers requirements and instructions for use are clearly conveyed and understood. Supporting customers through new equipment installations and staff refresher inservice education will provide above class outcomes for Laborie. It will be essential to have a keen desire to work with your partners in the Sales and Service teams to identify goals and opportunities to expand the Laborie business, along with developing our education and training methods to suit market changes.
The role reports into the local commercial leader. It is a hybrid role: a clinical educator that also has responsibility for field service support. As such it has a strong dotted line into Operations, specifically Global Service Managers based in Enschede and/or Portsmouth.
How you contribute:
- Train and educate on newly purchased Laborie systems.
- Support installation of Laborie systems.
- Perform system repairs and PM’s when needed.
- Assist the sales team with proactive targeting of accounts.
- Educate end users of the equipment according to Laborie standards.
- Ensure existing customers are comfortable using their systems and provide additional training as requested, and proactively support customer training needs.
- Promote sale of disposable and durable products, and extended warranties while onsite.
- Accurately complete all required documentation regarding site visits and customer interaction in a timely manner.
- Keep up to date with acceptable standards for procedures performed using Laborie systems.
- Cross-training with Field Service and assist when needed.
Qualifications:
- Clinical expertise in urodynamics and Gastroenterology.
- Would prefer experience with Overactive bladder navigation and third line therapies.
- Licensure as a nurse is encouraged.
- Clinical education experience in the hospital, clinic, or medical device setting preferred.
- 2 years’ experience in medical technology company, delivering clinical customer-facing material a plus.
- Must be able to work successfully in a highly energized environment with multiple projects.
- Must be able to re-evaluate and prioritize needs based on changing healthcare landscape.
- Technical aptitude in basic electro-mechanical systems a plus.
- Advanced operational computer skills a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. (23 Kg)
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to travel 50% - 70% as needed
