Location: Ellsworth Air Force Base, SD
Worksite: On-site
Position: Part-time
Duties:
- Coordinate with the Chaplain to provide musical support for worship, liturgies, and rites.
- Provide choir and musical support for one regular Catholic Mass per week and approximately 20 special events annually.
- Organize, rehearse, and lead a choir, including a pianist and singer.
- Provide music for funerals and memorial services.
- Select and get approval for appropriate music.
- Ensure musical instruments and sound equipment are functioning properly.
- Advise on musical equipment and supplies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of four years of experience in liturgical music for Catholic worship.
- Ability to work in a religiously diverse environment and communicate in English.
- Registered member of a Catholic parish in full communion with the Catholic Church.
- Ability to manage a liturgical choir and musical instruments.
