Strategic Planning Analyst Job description
Come join our Strategic team with Lakanto! We're looking for an intermediate analyst who is looking to expand and grow with an up and coming company. This role is cross-departmentalized in assessing and assisting in the company's strategic planning to help ensure a positive outcome to help make smart decision making. You will report to our VP of Strategy and will be involved in some decision making to help expand your overall experience in Strategic Planning.
Responsibilities:
- Manage company goals and analyze Alignment between department goals
- Analyze core weaknesses within the company and departments
- Develop plans to improve core capabilities to overcome weaknesses
- Analyze threats in the market and develop plans to mitigate threats
- Analyze changes in the market and develop plans to exploit new opportunity
- Support business development team in analyzing new business segments
- Support Marketing and sales in product competitor analysis
- Analyze and develop cross functional department initiatives
- Assist in writing and developing strategic business plan and executive summary
- Analyze internal Resources to evaluate company limits and accomplish objectives
- Develop a GAP analysis for the company and departments
- Support Marketing with customer insight and research to support the corporate strategy
- Support R&D, Sales, and Marketing to analyze and improve core competencies
- Support Sales and Marketing in researching new strategic partnerships
Skills
- Ability to distill complex concepts and recommendations in a simple manner
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Attention to detail and comfort with ambiguity
- 2 to 3 years of experience in strategy, finance, or similar analytical and strategic roles.
- Excellent business acumen and critical problem-solving skills.
- Natural bridge-builder and cross-functional collaborator.
- Proven track record of excellent project management across a broad range of work.
- Experience in a startup environment and a hands-on, self-directed drive to get things done.
- Intellectually agile: able to think deeply, qualitatively, and quantitatively about business problems, breaking down issues, and presenting solutions.
Salary
- $55,000.00 - $60,000.00
