Location Description: Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is nestled high atop the majestic San Bernardino Mountains at an elevation of 5,174’. This Resort is surrounded by an ocean of Ponderosa Pines and gives guests exclusive access to Lake Arrowhead, a reservoir with a surface area of 780 acres. Lake Arrowhead is the perfect location for outdoor adventure enthusiasts and offers a variety of summertime and wintertime activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ziplining, and more. The resort includes a Bar & Restaurant, Spa & Wellness Center, Outdoor Pool & Lake Beach as well as over 23,000 sq. ft of meeting and events space. Overview:
Basic Function
The Business Development Coordinator position is responsible for supporting the resort in driving revenue through the coordination and execution of special events, promotional activities, and cultivating revenue for the Spa, Aromas & Bin 189. This role is pivotal in enhancing the hotel’s local market presence by attracting guests to our resort.

Essential Functions
Revenue Generation:
  • Develop and implement processes to increase ancillary revenue through special events, promotional activities, membership sales and other specialty functions.
  • Identify and target potential markets.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including new mountain guests, growth areas, trends, customers and partnerships in our backyard.
  • Finding individuals through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Solicit local guests for special events and promotional activities to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Work with Director of Sales & Marketing to create content for marketing materials, including brochures, social media posts, and email campaigns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Focus on exceptional customer service to increase repeat business.
  • Prepare weekly report on sales including revenue booked, and sales presentations and task completed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field, preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or event coordination, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Understanding of sales and marketing principles, including digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Neat, clean, and well-groomed professional appearance and personal hygiene.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel locally.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have reliable transportation and proof and maintenance of [valid] auto insurance.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $20.00/Hr. - $25.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
