Main Responsibilities:
- Completes assigned tasks before and after service as assigned by side work sheets and manager.
- Complete orders, serves and clears food and beverages according to policy and procedure.
- Is knowledgeable about food, beverage and service required for regular service or private functions.
- Inform supervisors of complaints, unsafe conditions, and any out-of-stock items.
- Complies with all policies listed in Employee Handbook and department handbook.
- Presents a pleasant, courteous, and respectful demeanor toward residents, supervisors, and co-workers.
- Presents enthusiastic and attentive service to residents, guests and staff.
- Follows all procedures for sanitation, preparation and safe food handling in the assigned area.
- Takes necessary precautions and follows correct procedures for lifting and bending, and other safety procedures and immediately report all injuries
- Demonstrates knowledge of fire safety procedures
- Cooperates with staff of other departments in performing job duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Aged 21 or older
3-5 years of fast-paced fine/ high end dining
Has extensive knowledge or wine and spirits
Ability to properly open and pour wine table side
Well-organized with time management skills
Ability to provide prompt well executed service for a 6 to 8 table sections
Must possess previous point of sales system knowledge
Must possess or have the ability to obtain a BASSET and food handler certification with in 14 days of hire.
Ability to focus attention on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous.
Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with minimum supervision
Ability to read and write English
