Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to join our healthcare team. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff
- Supervise the performance of nursing personnel
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor residents' progress and make necessary adjustments to their care plans
- Educate residents and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate medical records
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices
- Strong clinical skills, including airway management, catheterization, dementia care, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team of nurses
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
