What are the responsibilities and job description for the IS Trainer position at Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital?
Works under the direction of the Director of Information Systems with additional direction/ management from the Assistant Director of Information Systems.Functions as an in-house resource person and help-desk for computer office automation applications such as word-processing, spread-sheets, desk-top publishing, time management, file management, web resources, and electronic mail.
EXPERIENCE: Must have a thorough working knowledge of and proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation type software such as Open/LibreOffice and/or MS-Office. The following experience and skills are helpful but not required: basic hardware troubleshooting, knowledge of the Unix/Linux operating system, telephone system concepts, business software (AP/AR/GL/PAY) exposure, experience with database applications, healthcare systems and/or terminology, graphics manipulation. One or more years of general training/education and/or help-desk experience is preferred. Four or more years of working in an office environment preferred.
