What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bindery Material Handler 2 position at Lakeside Book Company?
Material Handler 2 Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour for 1st shift, $18.00-$19.00 per hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Work Hours: 8 hour rotating shifts
Location: We have 2 locations in Crawfordsville: North Plant at 1009 Sloan St.
South Plant at 600 State Road 32 West. This position will be in the South Plant.
As a Material Handler 2, you will:
Read work orders and collaborate with operators to make improvements in the operation of our binding line.
Learn to operate small pieces of equipment.
Load printed materials into our bindery equipment.
Move finished product from the binding line and stack neatly onto pallets, carts or trays.
Work in a team environment and cross-train with others.
Receive training to help advance your career.
Qualifications:
2 years of manufacturing experience required
Requires the ability to lift and carry 20-60 pounds
Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift
Salary : $18 - $19
