Lakeside HR Group has beenengaged to recruit for a Sales Assistant for a Leading Provider ofHVAC Solutions located in Orlando Florida.

Their goal is toeffectively promote sales of HVAC equipment in the commercialconstruction market and to deliver unparalleled service to theircustomers.

This Company is a manufacturers’representative of heating ventilation and airconditioningequipment. They are one of the largest organizations of its kindand a clear leader in their industry.

Their corporate office islocated in Atlanta GA with ten additional branches locatedthroughout the Southeast Birmingham Jacksonville Orlando Tampa FtMyers Pensacola Savannah Memphis and Nashville.

The objective of this position is to assist OutsideSales Engineers with internal activities such as generating quotesestimating project management / coordination and customer service toa focused customer account list.

Essential Responsibilities andTasks :

Ability to do materialtakeoffs select products based on specifications price materialusing manufacturer software write a quotation and to distribute toa customer.

Internal training will beprovided.

  • Postsale project managementincluding the ability to book a job set up and manage a job fileunderstand the submittal process order entry with factories andwarehouses maintain and electronic billing sheet expedite ordersprocess freight claims process factory invoices and stocksales.
  • The ability to communicate withcustomers over the phone as a liaison for Outside Sales Engineerand maintain customer relationships.

May involve facetofacemeetings as well.

  • Ability to communicate with theOutside Sales Engineer and / or factory representatives thecustomer’s needs.
  • Multitasking and prioritizingdaily tasks to provide unparalleled customerservice.
  • Write a scope letter / quotationfor distribution to acustomer.
  • Assist the Quotation Departmentwith quoting jobs.
  • Understand freight claims and howto deal with damaged or shortedshipments.
  • Process credit card transactionson customer orders as needed.
  • Execute responsibilities withspeed accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications :

  • High school or highereducation
  • Experience handling multipletasks related to project coordination and management that requirestrong organizational skills.
  • Otherskills
  • Effective organizational skills : current projects may number from thirty to one hundred fifty jobsat different stages ofdevelopment.
  • Technical aptitude and productknowledge : the ability to offer presale and postsalesupport.
  • Computer skills : MicrosoftWindows environment software used for selection pricing quotingsubmittals ordering expediting shipment billing communicating withfactories and customers.
  • Problem Solving skills : abilityto creatively address problem issues to point of resolution whichmight include application delivery and installationissues.
  • Stress management skills : multitasking with constantly changing priorities in an industrywith many deadlines. Handling many active projects at differentstages of completion.
  • Organizational & timemanagement skills : ability to prioritize and reprioritize asneeded.
  • Customer service : have a can doattitude with a timely response with a strong phone presence and acustomeroriented approach.
