Job Description:
What we’re looking for in you
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivant
- Minnesota Pharmacy Technician Registration (PTR) - required at hire/start date
- Must follow State Board of Pharmacy guidelines/requirements for Pharmacy Technicians
Preferred:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association - suggested within 6 months of hire/start date.
The skills/experience you bring as a Pharmacy Technician:
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years old
Preferred:
- 2-3 years pharmacy technician experience
The purpose of the Pharmacy Technician role:
As an Pharmacy Technician, you will perform activities involved in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Technician completes pharmacy functions that do not require a licensed pharmacist, which allows pharmacist more time for clincial activities.
