Responsibilities and Duties
The main responsibilities of the Budtender include
- Interacting with, educating, and advising customers face-to-face or by phone.
- Operating a POS system to check in customers and complete transactions.
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility inside and out.
- Assisting with packaging and trimming as required
Required Skills
- Valid Registry Identification Card - Preferred
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to communicate clearly and calmly in a positive manner
- Perform job duties in a fast-paced work environment with the ability to stay even keeled in periods of stress
- Demonstrate a proactive, flexible, and adaptable work ethic

Required Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer & equipment operations (preferred)
- Arithmetic necessary for basic inventory and cash management
- Familiarity with history and varieties of medical marijuana, marijuana products and paraphernalia preferred but not required
Physical and Other Requirements
- Ability to spend extended time standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Employees are regularly required to perform grasping and repetitive motions.
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass a State background check
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must posses a VALID State of Maine I.D. or Drivers Licenses
