Responsibilities

Providing the nursing department with a variety of duties including but not limited to : compiling, transcribing, preparing, and maintaining records in the nursing department;

time and attendance edit log management; charge entry, etc.

Providing information and communication services to visitors and staff. Assists nursing staff in maintaining efficient and effective operations on the unit.

  • Providing urgent or emergent patient care interventions as needed on the patient care unit and monitoring the telemetry monitor during the shift.
  • Assists in registering patients during the evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • CNA certification
  • Cardiology / Telemetry training will be provided

Preferred

  • Two to three years of recent acute care work experience
