Job Description Summary

Must be able to WORK & TRAIN on any shift (Day or Night).

Position openings may change with production needs

Job Description

• Operates and maintains a variety of machines, such as blancher, dryer, sorting and automatic defect removal equipment, additive equipment and fluming systems.
• Utilizing Automatic Defect Remover machine
• Monitors additive levels according to QA specifications.
• Monitors and records QA attributes such as color, length, waste and defects.
• Adjusts settings on equipment as needed, according to quality specification levels or as directed.
• Is responsible for maintaining and keeping all equipment clean and functioning properly.
• Uses Factory talk panel views for all equipment in the area to adjust settings, monitor equipment, and track equipment trending.
• Uses computers to log and track data, and for retrieving product specifications.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

• Maintain a good attendance record.
• Communicate well in English in both written and oral form.
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide using a calculator.
• Climb stairs and ladders.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work independently with little or no supervision.
• Work safely and be willing to participate in company safety programs.
• Be responsible for following company policies and procedures.
