Sales Coordinator - Hotel Sales & Marketing

The Sales Coordinator will assist the Director of Sales and Marketing and the General Manager with administrative duties including but not limited to client, guest and vendor correspondence, account management, presentation preparation, customer follow up and VIP reservations and recognition. This position will coordinate client needs and client events. The Sales Coordinator will maintain files, systems and communication to other departments as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills on assignments.
Job Duties Include:
- Maintain files, systems and communication to other departments as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing
- Maintains well documented, accurate, organized and up-to-date file management in order to serve client and employer in the most expedient, organized and knowledgeable manner
- Assist with completing any required sales reports
- Detail all groups and catering events (Creating BEO and Resumes)
- Assist posting on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Also assist with marketing strategies and upcoming promotions
- Develop and effective communication and information system with the hotel team to disseminate details of upcoming group, meeting events and special events in the primary marketing area
- Assist hotel with implementing hotel specific selling strategies
- Promptly, the same day or within 24 hours, follows-up on all customers’ needs and inquires in an efficient and expedient manner
- Represents themselves and the hotel with the highest level of integrity and professionalism, a service focused approach and a caring, sincere attitude at all times
- Exhibits a positive and involved team attitude to all hotel departments and maintains open communication with all co-workers for the best overall performance of the hotel
- Display a neat, clean and business-like appearance at all times
- Conduct walk-in tours
- Support front desk by checking in and out guest and assist with making hotel reservations when needed
- Keep office supplies and food and beverage items for meetings stocked and on hand
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year
