Anticipated 2024-2024 Certified Exempt:
Position: Lancaster Junior High School Principal –must be fully certified.
Located: General Sherman Junior High School
Job Description:
The principal serves as the chief administrative officer and instructional leader of the school. Will plan, develop, organize, conduct, and maintain performance evaluation systems designed to ensure that site goals and objectives are achieved, and that all levels of staff adhere to school, state, and national educational standards and goals. Will positively represent Lancaster Junior High School throughout the community.
Qualifications for above position:
- A Master's Degree of higher, with a major in education administration.
- A valid state certificate to practicer as a school principal.
- At least five years experience in public schools.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
