Viracor Eurofins is searching for a Data Coordinator in Lee’s Summit, MO.

This is a Full Time position. Schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00PM, with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lee’s Summit, Missouri are encouraged to apply.

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibility: 

The Data Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Data Manager in the QC and implementation of data transfers.  The Data Coordinator is responsible for managing data transfers with a high degree of accuracy.

Employee Responsibilities:

• Assist in performance of the data management and delivery for projects
• Assist in the design and maintenance of clinical databases
• Work in SAS
• Quality review of data transfers
• Keep current on the industry, legal trends, regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to the role
• Other duties as assigned by management

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree required
• Previous experience with Federal regulatory requirements, including 21 CFR 11
• Previous experience with SQL, SAS and HL7 a plus
• Problem solving skills
• Customer service focused with professional demeanor
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
• Goal oriented, with excellent time management and organization skills
• Demonstrates a high degree of initiative, creativity and problem solving in daily tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively and work efficiently
• Highly organized with a relentless attention to detail
• Ability to prepare and maintain complex records and reports, follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Excel and all other Microsoft Office applications

Physical Requirements:

• Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead
• Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting
• Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)
• Mental acuity sufficient to collect and interpret data, evaluate, reason, define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, make valid judgments and decisions
