Job Tittle: Production Specialist
Job location: Goleta, CA (Onsite)
Job Duration: 12 Months Contract
Shift: 3rd Shift 8.00 Pm - 4:30 Am Sunday to Thursday
Pay Range: $30.00/hr - $33.60/hr on W2 (Without Benefits)
Job Description:
A Production Specialist operates equipment and performs processes to build hardware. Utilizes their advanced processing experience to trouble shoot and resolve issues with production support teams.
Rigorously documents processes performed in electronic tracking systems. Executes tasks to ensure that equipment and processes being used are in control. May assist in directing work, outlining tasks and checking others work for correctness. This is a 100% onsite position.
Positions are on third shift; however, training may be on 1st shift for the entire contract period because the employee must establish the required certifications to move to their final designated shift hours. Candidates need this shift hours flexibility.
First Shift ~6:30AM 3PM in Goleta, California (Training Period)
Third Shift 8PM 4:30AM Sunday Thursday (Shift Hours and days of week)
Required Skill Sets:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 6 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly or manufacturing.
Has experience in MS Office (Excel)
The ability to work in a class 100 cleanroom, in a full bunny suit, under yellow lights is required.
Operation of semiconductor style equipment (coat, expose, develop, wet etch, hotplate, surface treatment, deposition, metrology, inspection tools, hybridizers, Diamond Point Turning machines, etc to build hardware.
Following written procedures and work instructions
Handling fragile hardware and manually manipulate small parts during processing.
Documenting data on travelers and in the electronic database
Utilize strong interpersonal communication skills with peers, support teams and management.
Cross-training will be on going and requires the ability to learn new processes, equipment, techniques through guidance and direction from their trainers. Routine work is performed without supervision.
More than six years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication processes
Experience in Photolithography, Wet Etch, Hybridization, Thin Film Deposition, Diamond Point Turning or other cleanroom Focal Plane Array, fabrication work cells.
Ability to work safely with chemicals and raw production materials.
Ability to multitask.
The flexibility to work occasional, voluntary overtime on weekends to meet the factorys needs is strongly desired.
Years of Experience Required (if any): Minimum 6 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly or manufacturing.
