Title : Senior Manager Scientific Communications within Global Medical Affairs, Cell Therapy
Location : 100% Remote
Duration : 5 Months Contract
Pay Range : $60.00 - $70.00 USD hourly on W2
Responsibilities:
• Develops Global Medical content for Medical Affairs teams, including slide decks, FAQs, and other resources to support the scientific communications strategy.
• Ensures all MA content is up to date, aligned and consistent with medical plan
• Collaborates with MA asset leads as well as field medical teams across regions to ensure medical content addresses prioritized field needs
• Sponsors deliverables through Medical Review process and ensures appropriate roll-out of approved global content
• Maintains on-going communication with Publications, Medical Education/Congress planning and Medical Information teams, in addition to relevant MA/non-MA stakeholders to ensure alignment of materials with functional, departmental, and business strategies
• Supports the development and update of a strategic scientific communication plan for the assigned product/therapeutic area
• Supports Global Medical Content meetings for cross-functional alignment across relevant global and regional stakeholders
• Participates in the development of standardized processes and systems capabilities that facilitate efficiency in strategic content creation
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of medical communications trends and KPIs to drive updates/revisions to these materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Doctorate OR
• Master’s and 3 years of Scientific Communications experience OR
• Bachelor’s and 5 years of Scientific Communications experience OR
Preferred Qualifications:
• Terminal degree in pharmacy, medicine, or life science (PharmD, PhD, MD)
• 1-3 years of experience in medical content development or related area within pharmaceutical or related healthcare industry
• Ability to influence without functional authority within a highly matrixed cross-functional environment
• Capable of motivating implementation within strict timelines and setting priorities, dealing with ambiguity and remaining focused on goals
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to manage multiple vendors, as necessary
• Prior experience in oncology or cell/gene therapy area preferred
