What are the responsibilities and job description for the Munster HR Assistant position at Land O’ Frost?

Recruitment

  • Effectively manage applicants through an applicant tracking system from application to onboarding
  • Coordinate onsite candidate interviews
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements and background checks

Payroll and Benefits Administration

  • Maintain accurate entry of data into HR systems
  • Ensure I-9 compliance and maintenance of I-9 forms

HR Support

  • Maintenance of confidential employment files, records and related documents
  • Provide answers to general HR relation questions concerning policies, procedures, benefits and compensation
  • Post and maintain company communication systems
  • Asisst with facility sponsored events and community involvement initiatives
  • Provide support on various HR projects and initiatives
  • Process departmental invoices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience with human resources policies and procedures preferred
  • Motivated self-starter with good communication skills and a high level of integrity
  • Team player with proven good interpersonal skills and a high aptitude for customer service
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency required
