What are the responsibilities and job description for the Munster HR Assistant position at Land O’ Frost?
Recruitment
- Effectively manage applicants through an applicant tracking system from application to onboarding
- Coordinate onsite candidate interviews
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements and background checks
Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Maintain accurate entry of data into HR systems
- Ensure I-9 compliance and maintenance of I-9 forms
HR Support
- Maintenance of confidential employment files, records and related documents
- Provide answers to general HR relation questions concerning policies, procedures, benefits and compensation
- Post and maintain company communication systems
- Asisst with facility sponsored events and community involvement initiatives
- Provide support on various HR projects and initiatives
- Process departmental invoices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 1-3 years’ experience with human resources policies and procedures preferred
- Motivated self-starter with good communication skills and a high level of integrity
- Team player with proven good interpersonal skills and a high aptitude for customer service
- Microsoft Suite proficiency required
