What We Need From You
An O & E Processor receives and processes incoming orders from customers requesting an Owner and Encumbrance report (O & E) for real estate property. An O & E report includes the legal description of a property along with open voluntary and involuntary liens, pertaining to the property and/or property owner, and recorded in the county in which the property is located, along with the deed(s) vesting ownership and related documents, which may include filed bankruptcy petitions. This position requires processing a high volume of requests in a timely manner. The O & E Processor will also search the public records of the county in which a subject property is located and prepare additional informational and limited coverage title insurance products, which may provide more detailed information regarding recorded liens and ownership of a subject property.
This is an in-office position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls in a prompt and friendly manner.
- Maintain a professional attitude while working directly with customers. Process all title commitment inquiries via phone or email efficiently.
- Receive and process incoming orders in a timely manner meeting and exceeding the customer’s expectations.
- Prepare departmental reports and maintain accurate customer records.
- Prepare and package product accurately; data accessed from appropriate databases – Owner and Encumbrance Reports,
- General Index Searches and other products and services.
- Consult with customers to obtain information, identify problems, and provide technical assistance.
- Assist customers with problem resolutions; communicate in a professional manner with a clear emphasis on providing quality customer service.
- Create invoices for products and services according to the applicable rates.
- Prepare and package Non-ALTA Products.
- Understand the difference between Residential, Commercial, Agricultural, and Vacant Land.
- Attend training for knowledge and skill opportunities.
- Attend department meetings to establish teamwork and gather technical and corporate information.
- Maintain and protect corporate security by applying cybersecurity practices in daily decision-making and processes.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Customer service experience is strongly preferred
- Proficiency with E-mail, Microsoft Office Suite, and Internet
- General clerical required
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Compensation:
- The salary for this position is $40,000 - $42,000 annually.
- In accordance with Colorado state law, this position is non-exempt and all overtime will be paid at time and a half.
- There is potential for an annual employee profit-sharing bonus based on company performance.
The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Land Title’s total compensation package for employees.
