We are seeking a motivated individual who will lead the assigned locations in facilitating employee empowerment and build a culture of sales and growth throughout the area. This person will achieve success through managing employee and business performance for the hub location, all additional locations and their supporting operations team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Direct the service and operations functions of assigned hub area.
- Drive profitability improvement of assigned area through direct management of the location P&L.
- Promote a sales and growth culture with all employees within the Business Unit.
- Maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers.
- Coordinate and assist in meetings with key farmers as requested by Landus management team members.
- Responsible to increase NPS through providing customer-first service levels and aligning sales and operations personnel in order to set proper service expectation levels, resolve scheduling issues and resolve customer or operations issues
- Lead both strategic planning and tactical execution of operations and services within assigned area
- Implement and encourage innovative ideas related to continuous improvement of people, products, services, and physical plant/equipment
- Direct the effective and efficient utilization of all resources and assets including personnel, physical plant/equipment and inventory
- Direct assigned area inventory control of agronomy products and grain to limit shrink, non-billed products and services, theft, damage, aging, and deterioration
- Collaborate with agronomy procurement to manage inventory, price and quantity needs, and delivery timing
- Collaborate with grain merchandising to manage inventories, quality, damage, etc. to maximize returns
- Establish collaborative strategies with logistics for the most effective and cost-efficient movement and placement of agronomy and grain inventory
- Ensure personnel and physical assets meet company safety, environmental, health, regulatory, maintenance, quality and customer standards – champion of safety compliance throughout the organization
- Effectively manage assigned area with a focus on safety practices, customer focus, quality management, financial management, asset management, business expertise, planning and execution and continuous improvement
- Effectively lead others by selecting and retaining talent, managing performance, developing employees, engaging in frequent communications, building teams, motivating others, managing vision, managing conflict and demonstrating values and ethic.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds

- Agricultural management, operations, sales, marketing, and customer service experience
- Proven ability to establish, manage, and achieve financial objectives
- Proven leadership and management competencies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (agriculture, business or similar discipline preferred) and 10 years in a management position and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good computer skills.
