Position Purpose: | To provide administrative support to the Arts Division, as well as provide specialized support to Media Arts and other CTE technology programs, spaces, students, faculty, and staff within the division. This position is responsible for the maintenance and organization of facilities, including technology maintenance; equipment checkout; grant administration; supervision of student workers; as well as purchasing responsibilities. |

Supervision Statement: | Works under the general direction of the Dean of the Arts Division who sets forth working procedures and objectives. Positions in this class are responsible for establishing their own work procedures and priorities within guidelines. Many assignments are self-generated based on a knowledge of work processes and results that must be achieved. Work results are evaluated periodically through observation to assess results obtained and for conformance to overall goals and professional standards. Review of work in progress is generally in the form of completion of tasks and resolution of problems. |
Physical Demands/Working Environment: | This position works indoors and is exposed to usual office working conditions that include office noises and interruptions, such as printers, telephones, and visitors. This position requires that an employee is able to sit or stand for extended periods of time; perform cognitive and psychometric work for more than six (6) hours a day. Requires ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds as required by the position, use power hand tools, and perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
