What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mow Crew Team Member position at Lanracorp?
Lanracorp is seeking a 2 man crew, 1 Foreman and 1 Laborer to mow and weed trim industrial sites April-Oct weather permitting. Herbicide Spray License a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operating equipment (zero turn mowers, tractors, etc.)
- Documentation of work completed at each site via mobile device
• Services truck and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order•
Inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects
- Ability to work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Examine parts for damage or excessive wear
Accurately account for all time spent per job
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs
- Works in all temperatures and weather and will be exposed to nature, i.e., irritating plants and biting or stinging insects, dust, etc.
- Uploading documentation to company website via mobile device
- Vegetation maintenance of sites (i.e. cutting grass, weed trimming, etc)
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver license, Class A CDL preferred, but not required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with the required tools and equipment.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in all weather.
- Must be able to do the following physical tasks for up to 12 hours a day: standing, sitting, operating food controls (driving, operating heavy machinery, etc.), walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, grasping, squeezing, reaching above the shoulders, pushing & pulling, lifting up to 75lbs, & carrying up to 75lbs.
- Must be able to work in the following environments for up to 12 hours a day: heights, heat exposure, cold exposure, and on uneven surfaces
- Must be able to work with the possibility of exposure to a variety of vegetation, animals, insects, and other impediments to completing job requirements.
