Job Summary:

Connecting with these values, this position will provide high quality customer service for the students who utilize the services of the Center for Student Support. Coordinate and organize data collection efforts, reporting, communication, and event coordination. The Student Support Service Specialist will collaborate with Department Leaders to ensure front counter stability, continuity, on-site work oversight, direction, and problem solving during the Center for Student Support hours. Additionally, they will have shared oversight of scheduling/in-take process. Greet and serve students, schedule appointments for staff, manage the phone and email messages, provide basic college information, and assist the Associate Dean of Student Support in meeting the service needs of a diverse student population. Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethics as well as accuracy in judgment and communications (oral and written). Provide training, support, and direct the work of front counter student staff. Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Saturdays are possible.

Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Relevant work experience.
Demonstrated customer service experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
Two years of progressive experience
Windows-based system skills.
A high level of professionalism, excellent organizational skills and customer-service experience.
Bilingual
