Join our dynamic team as a Human Resources Operations Specialist. In this pivotal role, you will be the linchpin of our HR operations. • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• Alignment with Lansing School District's mission and values

• Knowledge of MDE teacher certifications and endorsements; REP experience
• Previous experience working in a K-12 Education or nonprofit setting

• Data entry: entering new employees into our HRIS systems.
• Compliance Assurance: supporting the hiring of properly certified staff.
• Recordkeeping and Documentation: Tracking funding source changes, staffing documents, vacancies, etc.
• Process Improvement: Help to improve streamlined processes for all HR practices.
• Collaboration and Communication: Communicate necessary information to other HR staff and District departments thoroughly and timely.
