As a Delivery Manager, you will act as a self-driven consultant on technical programs and projects, building key client relationships and ensuring value is delivered through our solutions. This client-facing role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple work streams, and a deep understanding of business and technical requirements. You’ll also be responsible for building and managing the product backlog while collaborating with our architects and team members to ensure successful solution delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Leads teams of consultants to ensure high-quality service delivery to clients.
- Realizes revenue and utilization goals of engagements as laid out in our statements of work.
- Work alongside client stakeholders to define digital products by identifying requirements. Write user stories that effectively communicate client requirements such that they are easily consumed by development teams.
- Oversee the creation of design artifacts as appropriate, such as wireframes and business process flow diagrams.
- Work with the engineering team to define and validate the technical approach, strategy, and deliverables for an initiative.
- Facilitate internal and external team events and ensure the delivery framework is adhered to.
- Act as a primary point of communication with the client throughout program execution, including financial status reporting.
- Work independently and with team members to create delivery plans, schedule time, work with other members to resolve conflicts, and escalate issues to management as required.
- Utilize modern workplace tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Power BI.
- Partner with Account Executives on expanding existing engagement or growing into other areas within a client.
- Create growth and opportunity for our clients utilizing technical solutions from our partner, Microsoft.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile methodology certification.
- More than 5 years of team leadership experience.
- More than 5 years of general technology or consulting experience.
- More than 3 years of requirement creation/management experience.
- A good understanding of several SDLCs and delivery methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients at the same time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with multiple teams building practices in a fast-paced environment with strong facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage risks and priorities with humility and grace.
- Walk the line between skepticism and optimism with every project.
- Experience supporting sales and account management.
- Solid presentation skills in both physical and virtual environments.
