Receptionist
New Holland, PA
- Greet walk-in customers and vendors
- Connect customers with the appropriate person
- Answer phones and direct their call
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as scanning, processing mail, etc.
- Work a consistent full-time schedule, 9 AM-5 PM, Mon-Fri, with some flexibility
Lapp Structures is looking for a Receptionist to be our office's cheerful first point of contact. Our Receptionist will answer the phone and screen calls, direct retail customers to the correct person, and help with general office tasks. Our company designs and builds custom structures – outdoor sheds, pool houses, outdoor living structures, animal structures, etc. While our overall purpose is to glorify God, our daily aim since 1987 is to build a good product and treat people right.
Our Ideal Receptionist:
- Experienced: Must have excellent people skills. Previous office or customer service experience is a plus.
- Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is preferred; previous spreadsheet experience is a plus.
- Friendly & Cheerful: Warmly greets customers in person and on the phone; determined to provide excellent service and ensure each person reaches the correct person to help them.
- Dependable: Willing to work agreed hours and be on time to greet customers and help around the office.
- Professional: Your appearance, words, and actions must be respectful, presentable, and thoughtful.
- Flexible: This position will involve frequent interruptions – must be able to complete tasks while remembering people come first.
