What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructor - Woodshop - FT position at LARC, Inc.?
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED required. One year experience working with intellectually and developmentally disabled adults or individuals with special needs preferred. A valid Florida driver’s license is required. Proof of automobile insurance is required if private vehicle is used for LARC business. Must be able to pass a level II background screening.
OTHER SKILLS:
Experience working in a woodshop with power tools and woodworking machinery. Other skills helpful and/or necessary for this position are an industrial background, project management skills, special education skills and human service experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises and trains intellectually and developmentally disabled adults to acquire vocational skills and produce products. Drives LARC trucks to pick up and deliver products to customers. Carries out behavior program requirements as necessary. Loads and unloads, drives and completes paperwork necessary to record deliveries. Insures production flow. Maintains accurate records. Records and collects business customer data. Responsible for material handling. Responsible for quality control. Responsible for creating and developing jigs, patterns and templates as needed to increase product line and opportunities for Woodshop consumers. Works directly with the Woodshop Manager and performs related duties as required.

Pay: $10.25 - $13.00 per hour
