Las Vegas Medical Research is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Research Assistant to join our team. As a Research Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our research initiatives and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in our field.

Responsibilities:

• Perform phlebotomy procedures on research participants safely and ethically.
• Process, centrifuge, and blood samples according to established protocols.
• Ensure accurate labeling, storage, and documentation of collected samples.
• Perform blood draws, handle the processing of blood samples, and ensure their timely and accurate dispatch to central laboratories.
• Collaborate with site staff to coordinate sample collection schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organized lab environment, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.
• Prepare blood-collecting equipment, draw blood, and safely store and transport samples.
• Prepare research materials, questionnaires, and data collection forms.

· Schedule appointments with study participants over the phone and through email.

• Assists in Recruit and scheduling study participants, ensuring adherence to research protocols and ethical guidelines.
• Perform data entry, and verification to ensure accuracy
• Maintain inventory of lab supplies and order as needed.

Requirements:

• Registered Phlebotomy Tech or Certified Medical Assistant
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in phlebotomy and blood work lab processing in a clinical research setting.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in research, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing research priorities and project needs.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
