What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator position at LaSalle Network?
LaSalle Network is looking to hire a Logistics Coordinator for one of our largest manufacturing and distribution clients in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Our client is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to support transportation and ERP/CPQ projects. In this role, you will handle log tracking, metrics reporting, assist with date and item changes and support document management, duty drawback, quoting and special projects. This is a long-term temporary position (full-time hours) with the potential to convert! This role is hybrid three days onsite in Rosemont, IL.
Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Track transportation logs and generate metrics reports
- Working with the larger team to help plan export loads, working with oversees offices and distributors
- Assist with date/item changes and document handling
- Provide support for duty drawback and quoting processes
- Contribute to special projects as needed
- Utilize Excel for data entry and management, export documentation, entering in orders, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Logistics Coordinator Requirements:
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs
- Strong attention to detail Prior transportation experience preferred
- Prior transportation experience preferred
