Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronic Test Technician to join our team. The Electronic Test Technician will play a critical role in the manufacturing and maintenance of electronic devices, ensuring their reliability and functionality.
Responsibilities:
Testing and Inspection: Perform tests on electronic components, assemblies, and systems using various testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators). Ensure that all products meet specified electrical and functional standards.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic circuits and systems to identify and resolve defects or malfunctions. Work with engineers to develop and implement corrective actions.
Calibration: Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability in measurements. Keep calibration records up-to-date and in compliance with industry standards.
Documentation: Record and document test results, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during testing. Maintain detailed logs of testing procedures, findings, and repairs.
Assembly Support: Assist in the assembly of electronic components and systems as needed. Provide feedback on assembly processes to improve quality and efficiency.
Quality Control: Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that all electronic products adhere to company quality standards. Participate in quality control inspections and audits.
Product Development: Support product development by testing prototypes and providing feedback on performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when handling electronic components and equipment. Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and compliant manner.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes, reduce testing time, and improve product quality.

Qualifications:
Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., IPC, J-STD-001) are a plus.
2 years of experience in electronic testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
Proficiency in using electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and test procedures.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in testing and documentation.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Familiarity with quality control processes and standards in electronics manufacturing.
Basic soldering skills are a plus.
