Qualified applicants will perform assembly of complex electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical products. The successful candidate is able to work independently and within a team environment. This person will also have an ability to meet rigorous product requirements, display strict attention to detail and an aptitude to providing quality workmanship.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Installs components and sub-assemblies in accordance with provided work instructions.
- Mechanical assembly following specifications and work instructions.
- Keeps accurate records for build information, anomalies, defects and test data.
- Maintains all manufacturing related equipment and facilities.
- Contributes to the workplace organization initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Mechanical, electronic, or related abilities.
- Experienced with and able to use hand tools, small power tools and pneumatic tools.
- Able to read, understand and follow technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
- Exhibits computer skills.
- Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
- Possesses and maintains a good attendance record.
- Able to work overtime when required (including nights and weekends).
- Strong organizational tendencies and practices.
- Able to read, understand and follow technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
- Experienced with and able to use hand tools and small power tools.
Education/Experience
- Two-to-five-year minimum experience in an Assembly role or related position.
- Preference will be given to candidates that possess qualifications in:
- Mechanical Assembly
- Electronics Assembly
