The Account Supervisor is a client-facing leader who supervises the development and implementation of client communications plans for one or more clients. The Account Supervisor is a resourceful leader who oversees the agency's development of client communication plans not only ensure their needs are met, but to provide the guidance and expertise as their marketing, advertising and promotional expert. The Account Supervisor is the primary senior client relationship contact and holds their staff and themselves accountable to providing each client with "can't do without" service, and delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervises the development of strategic planning of client projects and responsible for effective branding in supporting the client
• Manages the overall client relationship for several clients, developing and strengthening the individual personal connections with senior client contacts
• Drives growth of current clients and is responsible for cultivating new clients
• Provides experienced insight in the proposal and estimating phase of new business and client growth business
• Develops and manages client budgets in collaboration with the client and all internal agency counterparts
• Has overall accountability for project financial performance
• Directly manage a team, providing work direction and coaching

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Bachelor’s Degree required. Relevant areas of study may include marketing, communications, liberal arts, and business.
• Likely at least eight (8) years of agency account management experience, which includes:
• Prior experience developing and executing on the marketing strategy for clients
• Experience and demonstrated passion for leading and managing others who are part of a diverse and integrated team
• Well-versed knowledge and experience in agency account management and category/brand and integrated marketing. Is a thought-leader who provides business, market, and industry insights
• Highly driven and motivated account management leader whose drive and pace motivates others
• Ability to work closely with senior management individuals – both internally and at the client
• Demonstrated financial acumen in all aspects of client project budget management, financial reporting and analysis, and intuitive ability to resolve financial-related issues
• Business development success; proven leader in driving strategic growth of client business relationships
