RATE: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour DOE,
$500 Commitment Bonus, 50% at 3 months and 50% at 6 months
HOURS: 40 Per week, Monday through Friday
As a Direct Support Professional working with our adults in our Employment Program, you can expect a typical day to include:
- Helping to run an on campus snack shack
- Weekly shopping trip with consumers
- Assisting consumers in mock jobs around campus
- Teaching and assisting consumers in employment related activities and lessons. This could include career interest assessments, resume writing, filling out job applications, workplace safety, etc.
- Assisting with the academy hot lunch program

Qualifications
- Knowledge of resume and cover letter writing
- Knowledge of workplace safety
- Knowledge of food safety
- Ability to obtain food handler card
- Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to drive bus
- Able and willing to teach lessons or lead activities
- Ability to handle basic cash transactions
- Understanding of Social Skill Deficits
- Understanding of Developmental Milestones Understanding of Maladaptive Behaviors
