Building Maintenance Technician

A Maintenance Technician requires a diverse mix of both hard and soft skills, particularly manual labor skills, including:

• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems. Coordinate outside vendors for repairs if needed.
• Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building’s electricity. Coordinate outside vendors for repairs if needed. You may be asked to assist the IT department with set up of network wiring, locating PC's and other related duties.
• Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building. Coordinate outside vendors for repairs if needed.
• Coordination of Grounds keeping including coordinating parking lot maintenance/sealcoating. Applying weed killer and trimming weeds along parking lot barriers is a function that this technician would perform.
• General knowledge of HVAC. Coordinate outside vendors for repairs if needed.
• Ability to do operational maintenance on compressors. Maintain oil levels and clear water build up, belts, connections. Coordinate outside vendors for repairs if needed.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with employees.
• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.
• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building. This list may not be complete. We are looking for a facilities generalist that has a broad base of knowledge to apply to this role.
• Responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds
• Duties include clean and restock restrooms, in-house office set up, plumbing, painting, light carpentry and electrical work
• Change filters, dust vents, clean and maintain fan coils.

Pay: $62,400.00 - $65,000.00 per year
