Responsibilities:
Layer 7 Data Solutions is expanding our Staffing Services division specializing in Information Technology placements. We are a currently hiring Technical Recruiters to identify candidates for key positions with new customers. This position is a mix of sales and customer service, where hard working people will be rewarded with excellent commissions. The IT Recruiter will be based in our NYC office and will help to find Talented IT candidates for Contract and Direct Hire positions locally and nationally. We are looking for a candidate that is driven to succeed and wants to continue to grow and learn new technologies. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Responsible for full life cycle recruiting of IT candidates
- Must have a strong desire to build a career in Recruiting by using proven Negotiating and Closing Skills and the ability to build candidate relationships. Must have high levels of skill and motivation to search the talent for complex Technical requirements
- Ability to interact, develop Vendor network and get candidates placed in quick turnaround time
- Ability to multi-task and persevere in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a sense of urgency .
- Ability to meet the targets on a regular basis
- Must have a proven track record of success and be a competitive, self-motivated individual.
- Gathering requirements for consultants from Tier-1 Vendors of clients , Job portals and other networking techniques
- Ability to identify strong candidates via various sources such as resume databases , job boards effectively to identify and recruit qualified candidates
- Ability to Identify, assess, prioritize, qualify and close new business opportunities. Submitting the candidates for the suitable positions and following up regarding the rates and client interviews.
- Updating and maintaining the database for future requirements , generate daily reports and update them
- Must be consistent in preparing & submitting daily/weekly reports to senior management
- Must be able to achieve monthly and annual recruiting targets set by the company
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Smart individual, Exceptional phone skills & quick learner
- Energetic / Enthusiastic / Cheerful personality with ability to close candidates
- Good MS-Office & web skills a must
- Organized individual, attention to details and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
- Must be authorized to work in USA. No sponsorship and no third parties. Must be a local candidate.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,120.00 - $124,635.00 per year
