SUMMARY:
This position is responsible to manage the body shop business unit including all employees, budget, P&L, customer service, regulatory compliance, capital expenditures, and all body shop operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for department P&L including achieving revenue, margin and cost targets

Oversees all body shop operations to include dispatch, estimators, and technicians

Manages departmental workflow and capacity plan

Point of contact for escalated customer concerns related to body shop services rendered.

Directs and motivates department employees

Responsible for hiring, retention, performance and full employee life cycle of department personnel

Ensures departmental regulatory compliance to include but not limited to, OSHA, EPA, DOT and Insurers

Manages departmental inventory and supplies

Complete proper budgeting of capital expenditures to ensure necessary plant and property maintenance and improvement is performed as needed.

Attend all company required meetings and training.

Additional responsibilities as requested or required.
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:

Business unit management experience and three years of body shop management experience

Ability to forecast and anticipate business needs

Ability to sustain business growth while driving strong culture

Ability to anticipate and resolve problems

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record to meet insurance requirements

Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
-
Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
EDUCATION:

HS Diploma or equivalent
