RV Dealership General Manager

Lazydays RV of Ramsey, located in Ramsey Minnesota is looking for an experienced General Manager to join our growing team!

SUMMARY: The General Manager assumes responsibility and is accountable for the profitability of each department in the store on behalf of the company. Fulfills responsibility with sound business management practices. Plans, motivates, and coordinates the activities of the store management team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Directs and monitors all store management or supervisory personnel functions and completes formal performance evaluations of all department managers at regularly scheduled intervals.

· Plans store operations for the coming year and submits to corporate management for approval.

· Meets with the Accounting or FP&A Teams regularly to review departmental forecasts for consistency with the annual forecast.

· Meets with managers individually to develop goals and objectives, and to review actual performance.

· Monitors the SPS and creates improved courses of action where necessary.

· Communicates management policies and procedures to all employees and ensures that they are understood and followed.

· Reviews reports on the financial condition of the store and advises corporate of any discrepancies or incorrect data.

· Coordinates with the business office to ensure that records and analyses are maintained accurately.

· Develops and maintains a good working relationship with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel.

· Holds regularly scheduled managers meetings to ensure that every department is operating efficiently and profitably.

· Hires, trains, and motivates all store department managers.

· Provides enthusiastic leadership to help shape employees' attitudes and build morale.

· Reviews and approves compensation plans for all employees.

· Develops merchandising strategies and assists in creating effective, cost-efficient advertising programs.

· Resolves any customer complaints that department managers are unable to rectify.

· Investigates and resolves complaints from outside agencies.

· Reviews all requests for training, approves those which are appropriate and consistent with the store's goals for professional/technical ability and advancement, and monitors their effectiveness.

· Must have extensive successful background in Sales Management with full understanding of Sales, F&I and Fixed Operations.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· High school diploma or equivalent
