OPPORTUNITY

LBMC is seeking a Talent Development Advisor to join our growing team in our Brentwood office. The Talent Development Advisor is focused on designing, implementing, and facilitating talent development programs and activities to support team member growth and promote career development. As the Talent Development Advisor, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver a complete solution and seamless learning experience to our team members. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Develop and implement learning programs that align to the firm’s vision and objectives.
  • Build, organize and optimize all learning materials (facilitator guides, participant guides, activities, etc.).
  • Ability to expand and support the firm’s Coaching Program for individual contributors through executive leadership, including streamlining process, designing training and other support resources to reinforce a culture of coaching.
  • Facilitate leadership and professional development training sessions.
  • Deploy various learning methods firm-wide, including coaching, online learning, instructor-led training, etc.
  • Assist in the management of external vendor relationships.
  • Evaluate the success of training methods to measure training effectiveness, using data to make necessary improvements.
  • Collaborate with Talent Development Director to enhance leadership programs and make necessary updates as needed.
  • Partner with Talent Coordinator to track and build programs within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Adheres to LBMC’s defined processes and procedures including the firm's policy on privacy and client confidentiality. Knows and follows the rules, regulations, and the Code of Professional Conduct of the AICPA, the Tennessee Society of CPAs, the Tennessee Board of Public Accountancy, and other regulating bodies as appropriate.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years learning & development experience required, with a combination of experience in program management, facilitation, instructional design and/or learning operations.
  • Strong facilitation skills in both small and large group settings required.
  • Executive Coach Certification preferred.
  • Experience with a variety of learning and development activities, including in-person training, virtual programs, coaching, e-Learning, etc.
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System preferred.
  • Experience partnering with external vendors preferred.
  • Strong Experience with virtual delivery platforms, preferably Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with conference platforms (i.e. CVENT) is a plus.
  • Outstanding listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to be detail oriented.
  • Ability to drive for results while dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
