What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hiring Manager position at LC Staffing?
Kalispell area manufacturing company is looking for a Hiring Manager to add to their growing People & Development department. This is a fun and collaborative role allowing Hiring Manager to work with multiple departments across the company interviewing and hiring production staff, processing records, filling open positions, and fielding questions from candidates.
Duties:
- Collaborate with executives, create, and carry out effective hiring strategies and forecasts.
- Collaborate with HR Team and Training Manager to effectively onboard and orient new hires.
- Pinpoint current and inevitable vacancies.
- Collaborate with HR Assistant to draft, finalize and post job descriptions.
- Collaborate with the HR Teams and Training Manager to implement strategies to develop and retain employees.
- Source and vet applications for ideal candidates utilizing multiple job sites and platforms
- Interview candidates and select the most suitable individuals.
- Extend job offers to each prospective employee.
- Negotiate with candidates about job-related expectations and compensation.
- Provide written candidate profiles and counsel regarding the interview process.
