The Difference You'll Make
Under the general direction of the Association Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of general maintenance & repairs for the Parks Edge Condominiums. This includes but is not limited to: general maintenance of the common elements, property inspections, and ground care.
In alignment to the Company's brand strategy of Building Connections, this role is going to focus on creating positive, unique and memorable experiences for our residents.
Who You Are
- Completes repair and service work orders including HVAC related repair, replacement, and service work orders.
- Responds to homeowner service requests and concerns in a timely manner.
- Completes daily logs of work completed using work order and time card system to allocate time worked.
- Cleans work area, company tools, and equipment and maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Assists with snow and ice removal within designated community areas during inclement weather.
- Completes preventative maintenance and routine inspections of HVAC equipment and other infrastructure as scheduled or needed.
- Completes community waste management inspections and ensures grounds and property remain clean and free of debris.
- Travels to all Association sites as work orders designate.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
What You'll Bring
- HVAC, EPA Universal license recommended
- Experience in HVAC repair, replacement, and service experience required for residential, retail or commercial properties.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training, and one year of maintenance and/or service experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Work requires strong customer service skills
- Work requires strong time management skills and the ability to follow directions
- Work requires ability to adhere and ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Strong knowledge and technical skills associated with light carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC repair, replacement, and service, and pool maintenance.
- Work requires a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Commercial Pool Operator (CPO) license recommended.
