Responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising all of the non-physician functions within Emergency and Trauma Services to ensure that services are provided in accordance with the policies, procedures, philosophy and objectives of Saint Francis Medical Center. B. Oversees a wide variety of regulatory, administrative and fiscal activities internal and external to Emergency and Trauma Services. C. Provides strong leadership, motivation and staff development to the Emergency and Trauma Services staff. D. Ensures services are provided in accordance with policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the State of Missouri Level III Trauma Regulations, the Missouri Hospital Association, and the Department of Health and Senior Services. JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS Education: -Master's degree in business or healthcare administration-preferred. -16 Contact hours in Trauma related education annually. -Bachelors Nursing-required Certification & Licensures: -Registered Nurse Missouri - required -CPR Certification – required -PALS or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) – preferred (will be required to obtain) - Missouri Specialty Certification in Emergency and/or Trauma Nursing – preferred (will be required to obtain) -Missouri ACLS Certification – Preferred (will be required to obtain) -Missouri TNCC Certification – Preferred (will be required to obtain) Experience: -5 years experience as Registered Nurse in Trauma Center-required -2-3 years progressive healthcare leadership experience-preferred ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Saint Francis Healthcare System provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or genetics.
