Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial analysts and provide direction.
- Perform complex financial reporting and analysis.
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor purchase requests and coordinate with accounting departments.
- Analyze advertising, incentives, and pricing actions.
- Support external financial reporting (e.g., SEC and investor relations).
- Prepare internal financial reports for senior executives.
- Coordinate financial reporting with various company brands and functions.
- Monitor and track costs.
- Perform budget variance analysis.
- Identify and analyze balancing/memo/base account costs.
- Track costs between different recovery mechanisms.
- Develop 2025 budgets.
- Respond to regulatory data requests.
- Support regulatory filings and audits (internal/external).
- Track financial performance.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 8-10 years in complex financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of the SAP System as implemented at SCE.
- Familiarity with SCE financial models.
- Experience using PowerBI for reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in BEX/AFE.
