Qualifications and skills:
- Good understanding of accounting concepts
- Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.2
- Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
- Looking for individuals with strong technical and organization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with project deadlines and the ability to multitask
- Able to work flexible hours as needed
- Authorized to work in the United States
In this position they will:
- Become familiar with the firm’s policies and procedures.
- Understand professional standards and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Progress professionally by working toward passing the CPA exam as soon as possible.
- If assigned primarily to financial statement engagements:
1. Become familiar with pronouncements of the FASB, AICPA, and when assigned to governmental engagements, the GAO and GASB.
2. Become proficient at preparing financial statements.
3. Obtain exposure to various types of financial statement engagements offered by the firm.
4. Assume responsibility for unaudited financial statement engagements or segments of audits under the supervision of more experienced staff.

· Enough hours to sit for the CPA exam
· 2 years of related experience in public accounting
· Working knowledge of GAAP

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $64,000.00 - $82,500.00 per year
