What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive position at LeafLink?

The Role 

LeafLink seeks an Account Executive to join our growing team. This role will create, grow, and nurture relationships with our clients. We’re looking for someone with a proven track-record of working with a large group of SMB accounts at scale, in order to expand our reach and deepen our engagement. 

As the voice of the customer for clients, you will collect and share feedback with internal stakeholders, helping to shape the future strategy for the clients of LeafLink.

You will serve as the subject matter expert, advising your accounts on best practices for leveraging LeafLink to grow their businesses. You will provide strategic guidance that reflects best practices, technical expertise, and industry acumen.  This role is highly collaborative. You will be working cross-functionally across multiple teams, team members and markets. You need to be an excellent communicator and proactive self-starter who is comfortable with change, enjoys a fast pace, and can juggle many tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as segment subject matter expert and act as LeafLink’s key point of contact for your book of business
  • Develop and manage relationships at scale through a one-to-many approach with the cannabis industry’s clients, manage potential new opportunities with partners and ensure those relationships support key growth, monetization, and product initiatives of the company.
  • Coordinate with the Onboarding and Support team to provide clients with an exemplary customer experience
  • Drive renewals, upsells and expansion opportunities in concert with Segment Team lead
  • Represent the voice of the customer in product & business meetings by creating suitable business cases

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in a sales or business development role with a track record of hitting quarterly and annual targets 
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical software including feature demonstrations, functionality overviews, and best practice sharing with non-technical end user
  • Experience managing client-facing teams either directly or indirectly to present cross-functional proposals or plans to customers
  • Problem solver and builder mindset with a strong ability to work cross-functionally to deliver results
  • Proficient in Salesforce
  • Preferred experience with MixMax, Mixpanel, and/or other advanced analytics tools (Tableau, Periscope, etc)
